02nd National Symposium on “Sustainable Plantation Management” (NSSPM) - 2020
The Editorial Committee for the NSSPM invites the scientists, industrialists, investors, plantation managers, academicians, policy makers and undergraduates to submit extended abstracts to be considered for presentation at the Technical Sessions of the NSSPM 2020. The abstracts should be based on original research work and, if accepted, should be presented by the author/authors. All accepted abstracts will be published in the Proceedings Book of the NSSPM 2020, National Institute of Plantation Management.
• Sustainable Land use management
• Integrated social and economic approaches to productivity improvement
• Policy applications in agronomic practices
• Technological transformation to enhance the efficiency
• Climate smart applications in plantations
Deadline for submission of extended abstracts: (20th January 2020)
To be considered for evaluation, each submission should include the following documents.
1. Extended abstract
2. The author’s declaration form. (The annexed declaration form must be signed and returned by the corresponding author via email (scanned copy) along with each extended abstract submitted).(Hyperlink 01)
Guidelines for preparation of the extended abstract are attached. Please follow the instructions carefully. Extended abstracts that are not prepared according to the guidelines provided, or are submitted after the deadline, will not be considered for review. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to make alterations to the text of the abstract which will improve its quality.
Authors should be sent their extended abstracts with the contact numbers to the NIPM firstname.lastname@example.org by 20th January 2020.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF EXTENDED ABSTRACTS
The authors should present the paper at the conference once accepted. In the event that the presenter indicated in the application is unable to present the paper, it is the responsibility of the Corresponding Author either to withdraw the paper in advance or arrange for one of the Co-Authors to present the paper.
Guidelines for preparation of extended abstract (should be submitted with each abstract)
i) The text should not exceed 1200 words (excluding references).
ii) The extended abstract should cover the following aspects: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Recommendation Conclusion/s, References and Acknowledgement:
iii) The extended abstract should be coherent and free of language errors.
iv) Two copies of the extended abstract should be submitted electronically on a single Word document. The first copy should contain name(s) of authors, and institutional affiliations. The second copy should not contain name(s) of author(s), and institutional affiliations.
v) Tables and diagrams can be included and should be referred to in text as Table 1 or Fig. 1.
v) References should be limited to only essential ones.
vi) Use font “Cambria” (Heading size 12, uppercase, bold, Justified with 1.5 spacing, margin 1.5cm in all sides on A4 paper.
